After retiring from my career as a software designer and engineer, I wanted to pursue my lifelong dream of writing and publishing my fiction and poetry. The name Practical Tales came to me in a dream, and it seemed like the perfect vehicle for pursuing that dream. I quickly purchased the url, and after a few years of planning, turned it into my business and the web site you are currently visiting.
Currently, Practical Tales is publishing my own work in electronic and print formats. It also serves as a vehicle for my continuing web design and implementation work, and occasional consulting in software design. Future plans for the business remain fluid.
Our staff consists of myself, some terrific contract editors and artists, and my literary cockatiel, Blossom.
